Account Deletion

Delete your account in the app (fastest)

You can delete your Geesly account yourself, without contacting anyone. In the app:

1. Open Settings
2. Tap Privacy
3. Tap Delete Account and confirm

Our server-side deletion process runs immediately — typically within seconds. There is no waiting period and no approval step.

If you can’t sign in

If you have lost access to your account and cannot reach the in-app option, email our support team instead. Include:

• Subject: Account Deletion Request
• Your Geesly Public ID
• The email address used to create your account

What happens next

If you deleted the account in the app, it is already done. If you emailed us, our team will verify that the request came from the account owner and then run the same deletion. Either way the action is permanent and cannot be reversed — there is no grace period and no way to recover the account afterwards.

What gets deleted

Deletion removes, permanently:

• Your profile and authentication data
• Every profile photo
• Chat messages, conversations and chat unlock records
• Chat invitations you sent and received
• Your matches, likes and ratings
• References to you in other users’ blocked lists
• Local app cache on your device

What we have to keep, and for how long

A few records survive account deletion because safety and the law require it. We are explicit about them rather than burying them:

• Safety reports — user reports and the chat logs attached to them may be kept for up to 1 year for safety investigations.
• Payment records — transaction history is retained for 7 years, as app-store rules, tax law and accounting require.
• Permanent bans — accounts blacklisted after 50 or more reports stay banned, so deleting the account does not reset the ban.

Deleting the app is not the same thing

Removing Geesly from your phone does not delete your account. Your profile stays visible to other users until you delete the account itself, using one of the two routes above.
